Burton, Dr. George

George G. Burton, M.D. has been Medical Director of the Respiratory Care Program at Kettering College since 1983. He is Emeritus Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wright State University. He is a recognized authority in the field of Pulmonary Medicine, having published some 100 papers in medical journals and authored 12 textbooks in the field of Respiratory Care.
He completed his training in pulmonary medicine at Stanford University and prior to his retirement was the Director of Sleep Disorders Program at Kettering Health Network where he also was Chief of Staff. He is on many national committees in the field of Respiratory Care and greatly enjoys his teaching at the College, where he is an honorary member of the College Board.
