Angie Sahlbom has been working in medical imaging for 20 years. She has worked at outpatient and inpatient facilities in CT and MRI throughout the years. She is very excited to start this new journey as Clinical Instructor of Advanced Imaging at Kettering College. At work, She enjoys helping and teaching the students. Now, she gets the chance to interact with them more and help them become amazing advanced imaging technologists by starting their career in a positive manner.
Angie graduated from Kettering College with her associates degree in 1998 and her bachelor’s degrees in 2003. Angie and her husband met at Kettering College in 1995. Her husband, John Sahlbom, is a nuclear medicine tech at the VA Medical Center. They have two children, Josh, who is 13 years old and Maggie, who is 10 years old. Just like most families, they stay pretty busy with them. Her son, enjoys ice hockey and soccer and her daughter loves soccer as well.
As a family, they love to spend time together, whether camping, being outdoors, or hiking. Visiting new areas is one of their favorite things. Angie truly believes there is something interesting about every small or big town. Another extra-curricular activity Angie enjoys doing is wheel pottery.
