RT @crayons2classrm: This morning we were fortunate to have 13 members of the Kettering College Occupational Therapy group volunteer for us…
Join our annual celebration of Kettering College by participating in KC Giving Day on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Together, Kettering College alumni, faculty and staff, students, friends, and Kettering Health Network employees will have the opportunity to impact future generations of students. Your gift will benefit student scholarships and overall improvement of the college. Each gift, regardless of the amount, is an investment in the educational process we lead at Kettering College.
Your participation is critical to our success. Giving online takes less than 5 minutes—make a ripple today.

Anna May Vaughan Scholarship
Receiving the Anna May Vaughan scholarship not only encouraged me to finish strong in my final year but also strengthened my faith. I am a firm believer that God allows everything to happen for a reason, and I believe that my matriculation through Kettering was indeed a godsend. I can’t thank my donors enough for selflessly providing the funds for me to finish my education right when I needed it most. To the Kettering College Division of Nursing, I am forever grateful for the consideration, for pushing me to my highest potential and believing that I could go even higher.
I feel extremely honored and appreciative for receiving this significant scholarship, which has provided me with the much-needed support for my personal and professional development. In line with this, I am very thankful for the award, which has definitely helped to alleviate my financial burden and given me the motivation to complete my Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care. I am glad that the profession I have chosen to pursue is one that I admire and respect, and is the same profession people revere and value. My goal is to help my patients breathe better and make a difference in the Respiratory Care profession. This scholarship is going to take me one step closer to my career goals.
I am so grateful to have received a scholarship while attending Kettering College. It gets progressively harder to balance family, work, relationships, friendships, school, and on top of everything finances. Receiving a scholarship removed one of the major stressors in my life and allowed me to catch my breath in a busy semester. I feel very blessed to be a part of the Respiratory Care program and I am thankful that there are donors who care that I am able to achieve my goals and dreams. They are the people who make it possible for me to succeed and motivate me to be the best caregiver that I can be. I will always be grateful for the help I have received throughout my journey at Kettering College
“The scholarship came at a time when I was in serious financial hardship. It was an answer to earnest prayer.”
As a respiratory care student, I am grateful and appreciative to be an attending student at Kettering College. I started on my career path years ago, and due to becoming a mother, I dropped out. Coming back to school has been a challenge for me and my son. Receiving the scholarship money has helped me be able to continue the path God has put me on. One day I will have the opportunity and pleasure to help heal people in their time of need.
Your gift gives many students, identified by Kettering College faculty and staff, life-changing support and an opportunity to succeed. Gifts to this fund support students with financial need due to extraordinary circumstances. Your gift will help a student facing a health crisis, job loss, death in the family, or another unforeseen event.
“The sonography program has benefited greatly from the Student Assistance Fund. Our students face the same issues as all people in our community. Divorce, homelessness, and family tragedies have all occurred. If it were not for the student assistance fund helping students with immediate needs, I believe many would have been forced to drop out. These are students who are now successful health professionals. I can’t thank you enough!”
