We are so excited to see all our new and returning students at the 2017 Fall Welcome! These days are designed to give Kettering College students the best chance for success while starting the new school year. Take a look at the detailed schedule below for information about the Fall Welcome events.
Residence Hall Move-in Day: Wednesday, August 23, 2017
We can’t wait for our residence hall students to arrive on campus and move-in! Students arriving Wednesday are welcome to move in from 10 am to 5 pm. A dinner for students and their families will be held at 5 pm, as well as a residence hall orientation at 5:45 pm.
New Student Welcome: Thursday, August 24, 2017
We are excited to meet all of the new Kettering College students during our New Student Welcome program on Thursday. The opening session, starting at 9 a.m. will be located in the Kettering College gymnasium at 3737 Southern Blvd. Kettering, OH 45429. This is a time for new students to meet their classmates and receive tips on how to be successful in college.

In the first floor lobby, you will find our KC Hub at the front desk where you can ask any questions you might still need answered, pick up your student ID, or get a campus tour. Also in the lobby is the Bullpen where students and parents can finish registration for classes, have a student ID photo taken and get a parking pass, or visit the financial aid office. Nursing CPR Training for all BSN-prelicensure and LPN-to-BSN students will be available on Thursday at their assigned time.
NOTE: Online students are invited, but are not required to attend.
Academic Program Welcome: Friday, August 25, 2017
Friday’s sessions are designed for any students that have been accepted into a specific program at Kettering College. There will be an opening session at 8:30 am for all undergraduate students that will be starting their clinical programs. Come meet your clinical leaders and new classmates as you begin the next chapter in your program!

Welcome Weekend Social Events: Friday, August 25 – Sunday, August 27
We will be hosting several opportunities to meet other classmates and to celebrate the start of the school-year during our Welcome Weekend Social Events. We want to kick-off the school year with fun activities for all our students to enjoy. Our wish is that you connect with fellow students and faculty and staff throughout the weekend. All events are FREE and students are encouraged to bring their families!

"Collective" Worship Join us for the first Collective of the year - food, connection, and worship hosted by Student LIFE. This is a laid-back worship for students of any denomination who want to talk about Jesus and just relax with other students. You’re invited to dinner at 6 p.m. and worship at 7 p.m. The rest of the evening will be filled with student connection, games, snacks and relaxation. Student LIFE Study Group worship begins at 10 am at the Kettering Seventh Day Adventist church across the street from the college. Directly after our worship service will be an 11 am group discussion in a classroom next to the sanctuary. Coffee will be served before the worship service, as well as a breakfast served before our group discussion.
Student LIFE study is every Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in the S4 Sabbath School room.

Kettering College Carnival A FREE day of fun, for students, faculty and staff, and family to come together and celebrate
the start of the school year! There will be lots of food, and exciting activities (large water slides, dunk tanks, etc.) for all ages.

Gospel Fest The Fourth Annual GospelFest, presented by Kettering Health Network, starts with different local/regional groups performing for approximately 20 minutes each on the
Fraze stage. The day caps off with a performance by Tenth Avenue North at 7:30 PM. This event is FREE and open to the public!
