Annual SOCHE Awards Banquet recognizes faculty member Donna Moore

Kettering, Ohio, November 30, 2016– The Southwestern Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) held its twenty-first annual Faculty Awards Luncheon on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Dayton Art Institute. This year’s awards banquet recognized Donna Moore, associate professor in the Division of Nursing and the IPE Simulation Center Coordinator at Kettering College, among nearly 60 faculty recipients from 10 area colleges and universities with its “Faculty Excellence” award. Academic officers from SOCHE member colleges and universities have selected recipients for outstanding contributions in teaching, service, and scholarship throughout the academic year. The special event will also feature a keynote by author Susan Southard, 2016 recipient of the Dayton Literary Peace Prize for nonfiction.

Formed in 1967, SOCHE is a consortium dedicated to advancing higher education in the region through active collaboration, resource and knowledge building, and effective professional development programs.
