Here at Kettering College we believe that building a community is an important part of the Christian faith. We strive to connect with students and give students the opportunity to engage with peers through group outings, community worship, and much more. Our desire is to create social encounters that allow our community to grow together as one!
Whether it’s sitting down for a Bible study, grabbing a free hot drink on Starbucks night, throwing a ball at your favorite professor sitting in the water dunk tank at Carnival, or playing a fun and intense game of bubble soccer, Kettering College provides a variety of opportunities to take a break from studying and enjoy the simple moments of life.
It is exactly what it sounds like. Who doesn’t enjoy free coffee and games? Join us at Starbucks once a month to collect a free drink of your choice and spend time relaxing and getting to know fellow students.
Kettering has the best carnival around! Bring your family for a day of fun and celebration kick off a brand new school year. Get to know your future classmates and professors; and spend time with old friends, while making new ones. Where else will you get the chance to hit classmates over the head with a blow up mallet while balancing on a bouncy boxing ring? Have some good food and play games; and spend the afternoon making memories that will start your school year off right.
Appreciation Week is dedicated for administration, faculty, staff, and students to practice affirming and building each other up.
Saturday Night LIFE (SNL)
In the midst of all the studying, Kettering College provides students with a variety of opportunities to put the books away and enjoy a relaxing, fun-filled night. Events include movie nights, bubble soccer, relaxing in the Chaplain’s hot tub, foosball competitions, bowling, ice skating, and more.
Life Groups are small groups of students meeting to talk about “LIFE”. Life Groups meet on Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m in the Kettering College dorm located on the second floor. We believe that we weren’t meant to do life alone, so we hope that joining a LIFE group will help you find a community to study, pray, and journey together with.
