Kettering College has moved all face-to-face classes and business operations online as we take precautions to keep our students, faculty, and staff safe during the current novel coronavirus pandemic.

All student activities & events, including those on campus are canceled until further notice.

Student Services (Admissions, Financial Aid, and Records), and Academic Support (tutoring, Writing Center, career services, and advising) have also moved online. It is still their priority to serve students, answer questions, and enroll students for the upcoming semesters.

      The resident assistant position focuses on enhancing the quality of life in the residence halls, including fostering community, providing academic support, and being attentive to safety and security of residents.       • Work with peers one-on-one with writing and presentation projects.
      • Foster an environment of collaboration.
      • Make suggestions to students based on the work they bring in.
      • Help with APA formatting and citation, basic writing skills, flow/transitions, thesis statements, organization, presentation software and timing, as well as outlining, brainstorming, and practicing presentations.

Ben Hotelling, Career Service Director – 

Bachelor’s degree in elementary education, 2012, Andrews University; Master’s degree in leadership development, 2015, Wright State University 

Ben Hotelling is a Dayton, OH native. He worked as a recruiter at Kettering College, then moved to Kettering Health Network’s Human Resources Department as a network recruiter. Through these roles he aided students and healthcare professionals connect to their best healthcare future. He would seek out professionals with the right combination of experience, education, and skill to fill a particular role. Ben then transitioned to Fort Hamilton Hospital where he was the Manager of Business Development and in charge of building relationships with physicians and leaders across the hospital to ensure key service line growth. Now, he fills the role of Kettering College’s Director of Career Services and is looking forward to helping students achieve their career objectives.
