New Dean for Academics at Kettering College

KETTERING, Ohio, September 13, 2017 – Josefer Montes, PhD, now serves as the Dean for Academic Affairs of Kettering College. Montes served as the Dean of the School of Business at Walla Walla University from September 2011 until this last spring.

Montes received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Southern Adventist University. He then went on to complete his Masters of Business Administration from Orlando College and his PhD from The University of Southern Mississippi.

Montes has experience in both for-profit and non-profit education along with a background in sales and marketing, management, and accounting.

“We believe Dr. Montes is an excellent addition to our team,” said Nate Brandstater, Kettering College president. “He will add to the bright future of Kettering College, a faith based institution focused on educating students to make service a life calling.”

Dr. Montes began his duties at Kettering College in early September.
