Kettering College Student Mentoring
Hello and welcome to Kettering College!
My name is Laura Willis, and I am responsible for the student mentoring program offered here on campus.
Do you think you could have improved grades or a better college experience if you had a mentor? A mentor is a person who offers knowledge, insight, perspective, or wisdom that is especially useful to the other person. At Kettering, students enrolled in the Service Learning Honors Program work as student mentors to new students who feel they need help with managing time and study habits.
Students who enter the mentoring program are expected to attend all of their scheduled classes and meet with their mentor 1-2 hours per week on the Kettering campus at a time that is convenient to both student and mentor.
If you believe you could benefit from having a mentor, please click the button above and complete the mentee questionnaire. The questionnaire determines your readiness to have a mentor relationship. There are no right or wrong answers on the questionnaire, and it contains only 10 questions. Your answers will be evaluated to determine your need and readiness, then I will contact you via e-mail to assign a mentor to you. So check your e-mail after you submit the form!
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
