Tutoring
Tutoring can help in all areas of learning.
Tutoring is not just for students in danger of failing.
If you want a better grade, tutoring is for you.
All tutoring is a free service offered in the Nita Jennings Academic Support Center in the Library.
Face to face tutoring is usually available in the Center for:
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Computer Skills
- Math
- Microbiology
- Physics
- Psychology
- Sociology
An expert math tutor is available 9:00am-Noon Monday through Thursday.
Peer tutors are trained students who can help with specific courses.
Please check the tutoring schedule to see when tutoring for a specific subject is available.
If you are unable to meet with the scheduled tutor you need, please contact Bev Ervin, the Academic Support Coordinator.
For students unable to meet with tutors face to face in the Support Center, online tutoring is available 24/7 through SMARTHINKING.
