2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial March

January 17, 2019, Kettering, Ohio–Kettering College is inviting its students to participate in the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial March in downtown Dayton on Monday, January 21, 2019.

Kettering College does not have classes on Monday, but we encourage students to spend the day in reflection and participation in the area of civil rights and inclusion.  At 9 am on Monday, January 21, we will meet in downtown Dayton and march through Dayton, remembering the sacrifice that so many made to improve civil rights and inclusion in our country.

Kettering Health Network (KHN) is a gold sponsor for this event and are inviting Kettering College as the education institution of KHN to hold the a banner for the college and walk with all of KHN.

They will be giving out hats and gloves for us to walk with, as well as hot chocolate.
