Ashley Barnett


Ashley Barnett MS, RNC-OB, C-EFM is the Assistant Professor to the Nursing 341 course, Family Nursing Concepts. Barnett has served as a faculty member since 2018.

Barnett received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and her Master of Science (MS) (concentration in nursing education) from Wright State University. She holds two nursing certifications in inpatient obstetrics and electronic fetal monitoring. 

Barnett serves as a nurse in the areas of labor and delivery, triage, and postpartum and newborn care. She has been working in these specialized areas of nursing since 2009.

Barnett discovered her heart for nursing education in working with and orientating newly graduated registered nurses. She feels deeply blessed to serve as a mentor to students and share her excitement for family care.
