Adelaide C. Durkin,DNP, MS, RN, COI, CNE, DipACLM, is a native of Brazil where she received her baccalaureate training and specialty in cardiology nursing.
Her clinical background also includes medical surgical nursing and neurorehabilitation. Durkin has been in nursing education for the last 19 years and 13 of these years at Kettering College. Her passion for lifestyle medicine and wellness has motivated her to complete a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2021. Her current research project focus on improving sleep outcomes for nurse shift workers.
