Talbott, Taryn

Taryn Talbott is alumni of the Kettering College Associates of Radiology and Bachelor of Science in Advanced Imaging program. She has worked several years at a local trauma center bringing comfort and care to patients. She feels blessed to still work in the field while bringing current information into the classroom. Taryn has a Master degree in Education focused on curriculum and development and is registered in Radiology, CT, MRI and MRSO (MRSC). She is very involved in her online and face-to-face classes and is always trying new learning techniques. The Advanced Imaging program has been Taryn’s home since 2005 and she has loved every minute of working with the future of imaging.

Outside of the classroom Taryn enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She and Brian have been married for sixteen years. They love traveling, working out, spending time with their nephews and cheering on the Buckeyes. Taryn tries to make room for a good book whenever possible. Brian is also alumni of Kettering College Radiology and Bachelor of Science in Advanced Imaging. They both love to discuss all aspects of the modalities whether it be physics or pathologies.

One of Taryn’s greatest joys is to walk into a clinical site and see a graduate excelling in their role. Whether it’s in the role of tech, research, lead or Director it is a true joy. She also loves seeing those graduates take the time to invest in current students’ lives and pass along wisdom from their experiences in the field of imaging.
