Black History Month Events To Take Place

February 11, 2019, Kettering, Ohio–For the month of February, Kettering College will be hosting several events for Black History Month including a movie festival film series and a guided tour of the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center for students, faculty, and staff. After each Tuesday night movie, a discussion and time for reflection will follow. There will also be a meal or snacks served each Tuesday during the movie as well.

The movie festival film series is free while the guided tour is ticketed except for the first 25 students to sign up. Kettering College Student LIFE and the diversity office are proud to host these student-led events throughout February. If there are any other Kettering College students that would like to get involved in this event or wish to lead in any other cultural celebrations throughout the year, please email our diversity officer, Shanese Higgins.
