Spiritual
While Kettering College provides an excellent educational experience for their students, we also hope that our students will grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus. He is the reason we gather, serve, and exist. Our desire is to encounter HIM as we become the kind of people He has in mind for us!
Every week is packed with opportunities to connect spiritually. The Collective program on Friday nights allows students to settle down and relax with food and worship amongst community. Every morning in the Chaplain’s office, students are invited for a quick prayer and a hot beverage to start the day. Although Kettering College is a Seventh-day Adventist institution, we acknowledge and respect every form of belief and would only love to take a break from the daily duties of studying and working and to just worship together.

Hot Spot
Come by the Chaplain’s office at 9:15 a.m. every weekday morning and bring concerns, prayer requests, prayers, or anything else you may need to talk about. This time of togetherness is designed to provide a spot where you can talk about your week, have a cup of coffee, and then begin your day with prayer.

Prayer Wall
We want to strive to make prayer a big part of daily life at Kettering College. That’s why we offer things like Hot.Spot, a daily time when students can gather together for prayer. But what if you’re not able to make it on campus for that time or you are an online student? You can be a part of this time of prayer as well! We want to pray for you in specific ways. Please feel free to submit a prayer request or praise below. You can submit these prayers anonymously or you can add your contact info and ask that your request be shared with the daily prayer group during Hot.Spot – but either way we just want to pray for you. Your prayer requests will be sent directly to our Chaplain, Steve Carlson. Feel free to specify if you would like to keep these prayer requests between you and the Chaplain or if want him to share them with the rest of the campus ministries team so they can uplift you in prayer.
“Make this common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.” – James 5:16 MSG
