Research Workshops
Beginning this Fall, the Office of Research and Scholarship will be holding personalized research training for faculty and students every Wednesdays from 9 am to 4 pm on a broad range of topics, ranging from development of research theme or area of study, thesis, grant and manuscript preparation and submission, IRB, conference presentation, how to establish a productive collaboration and others. Research Integrity

The mission of the Office of Research and Scholarship (ORS) at Kettering College is to provide support for research and creative scholarly endeavors of our faculty and students at Kettering College. Our office supports a broad range of scholarly activity, including discovery, teaching and learning, integration, and engagement. The Office of Research and Scholarship at Kettering College also works in close collaboration with Kettering Health Research Office on compliance and research integrity, notably the internal review board (IRB). Although research appears to be expensive, it has great returns on investments. Studies have clearly demonstrated the benefits of students engaging in research. They include development of greater problem-solving skills, better understanding of research methods, deeper understanding of the discipline, greater confidence and independence, better understanding of career and education path.
