As the Director of Public Relations and Marketing, she was an integral part of the 14-month intensive Ruffalo Noel Levitz consultation process, leading and implementing new processes for the marketing and public relations department in conjunction with the enrollment process. Under Jessica’s leadership, she increased the department to include two-full time positions, managed a full redesign of the website, and implemented of digital strategies for marketing and enrollment.

In her new role, she will focus on the operations of admissions and marketing, streamlining processes and the continued creation of the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system. Through her years of experience and education, Jessica will bring her expertise of communication to improve the College communication process. She will oversee the admissions and marketing departments, under Katrina Hill and Lauren Brooks, respectively.

Lauren Brooks began her career in higher education as an admissions counselor at Southern Adventist University. For three years, she worked on improving the communications between prospective students and the admissions counselors, specifically through the creation of detailed communication flows, including redesigned marketing pieces and social media posts. She spent the last two years as a communication specialist in the Public Relations and Marketing department at Kettering College. In this role, she was responsible for creating marketing and enrollment communications, managing the College’s social media platforms, and creating internal messages sent out through various channels of communication, including publications for the Columbia Union of Seventh-day Adventist and Kettering Health Network. Recently, Lauren also received her Master’s degree in Strategic Communication from Liberty University.

Over the last year, she has been instrumental in laying much of the foundation in building the CRM due to her in depth of knowledge of the admissions process and her unique skill set in communications.

“I am very excited about what Lauren and Jessica bring to their new roles. They are not only qualified, but amazing leaders who will continue to help grow Kettering College to the institution we all want it to be”, said Adam Brown, Dean of Student Success.
