While Kettering College provides an excellent educational experience for their students, we also hope that our students will grow in their knowledge and relationship with Jesus. He is the reason we gather, serve, and exist. Our desire is to encounter HIM as we become the kind of people He has in mind for us!
Every week is packed with opportunities to connect spiritually. The Collective program on Friday nights allows students to settle down and relax with food and worship amongst community. Every morning in the Chaplain’s office, students are invited for a quick prayer and a hot beverage to start the day. Although Kettering College is a Seventh-day Adventist institution, we acknowledge and respect every form of belief and would only love to take a break from the daily duties of studying and working and to just worship together.
Join us Friday evening (when school is in session) for dinner, worship, and fellowship! We meet at a different home in the community each evening, so check for an email each week from the chaplain for the location. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. and worship begins at 7 p.m.
Stop by the Centerville Winans (5839 Far Hills Ave. Oakwood, OH 45429) the last Wednesday of each month between 7 and 8pm (with a few exceptions due to school breaks). You’ll be able to get a free beverage of your choice, connect with other students, and find some encouragement in the midst of a busy week.
We believe in the power of prayer. We believe that as we come together for prayer not only are we able to connect with God, but we connect with each as we gather.
Would you like to join a group for prayer, meet with our chaplain for prayer, or just submit a prayer request?
