2024 Giving Day a Success
April 11, 2024—Kettering College’s 2024 Giving Day was a success, as current students, faculty, staff, and friends of the college teamed up with alumni to raise funds to make healthcare higher education accessible and affordable.
Tina Howard, Giving Officer, is one of the key players in creating this important event every year. She says, “While we did not make our participation goal, we did raise almost $50,000, which is an 18% increase over last year. Several Kettering College Board of Directors came to kick off the day and talk with faculty and staff while also making their contributions to the college. It was fun to see the students get excited and involved in the Pie the Professor events we had throughout the day. Thank you to all who helped in making this Giving Day a success.”
As people on campus gathered throughout the day to give a monetary gift to the scholarship funds, the excitement was building for the now-popular Pie the Professor events in the morning and afternoon, as well as the raffle for the coveted parking spots.
