Kettering College Plans for Fall 2020 Semester Due to Coronavirus

Kettering College is prepared to deliver a quality academic experience while keeping the safety of our students, staff, and faculty at the forefront as we return to campus for the fall 2020 semester.

Classes begin Monday, August 31.

  1. A blended method of instruction will be used. We will have a combination of face-to-face and online learning experiences.
  2. Clinical training will be face-to-face at clinical sites and through simulation activities on campus.
  3. Laboratory work will primarily be on campus.
  4. Lecture or didactic work will be a combination of face-to-face and online delivery.

Respiratory Care Program Cost

The estimated cost for the Respiratory Care program is calculated every year, the information below is for the upcoming Academic Year.

Education costs per semester include the cost of tuition, program fees and the cost of books. Total costs for the semester include the total cost of education in addition to the cost of room and board, if needed.

Respiratory Care Program Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded for up to two years to qualified first-time, full-time, degree-seeking Respiratory Care students.

Eligibility: Awards are based on the student’s high school GPA or transfer GPA and Expected Family Contribution (EFC), which is determined by completing the FAFSA. The maximum EFC to be considered is 10,000. The minimum cumulative high school GPA to qualify is 3.25 and transfer GPA is 3.00.

Requirements:

  • a student must be admitted to the Respiratory Care program
  • have their FAFSA results processed and sent to our school code (007035)
  • have an official high school transcript with at least 6 semesters of grades submitted to the college and a college transcript if transferring credits
  • official high school transcript will be required upon graduation to confirm eligibility

Scholarship funds are limited and awards will be made on a “funds available basis.”

The student must keep a minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.5 and be within the EFC range of 0-10,000 to continue eligibility. The award amount for the 2nd year will be reviewed prior to fall semester and may be adjusted if the student’s EFC increases or decreases from the prior year.
