Certificates in Advanced Imaging Curriculum

The certificate and bachelor students are admitted to the program after passing their Radiology Registry provided by the ARRT and completion of an approved Crossectional Anatomy course. The bachelor completion students can start with the Introduction to Health Science course while starting a specific modality. Both the certificate and online Bachelor program offer the same material. Didactic information including a registry review are offered alongside the clinical rotation. Each modality completes the didactic and clinical rotations in 16 weeks.

    • Certificate in Vascular Interventional Technology (VIT)

    • Certificate in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology (CIT)

Advanced Imaging – Clinical Education

Clinical Hours For Advanced Imaging Technologies Certificates

Each one-semester (16 weeks total) clinical experience in the advanced imaging modalities of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, vascular-interventional technology, and cardiac interventional technology require a minimum of 300 contact hours in clinical experience.  Each clinical week generally has three eight-hour days.
