Kettering College to Host Photography Contest in Celebration of New Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program

KETTERING, Ohio, May 13, 2015 – The Kettering College Entry-Level Occupational Therapy Doctorate Program is inviting all members of the community to a photo contest on“Occupations – Meaningful Parts of Daily Life.” Winning submissions will be permanently displayed on the walls of newly remodeled occupational therapy program facilities in the Ollie Davis Center for Medical Arts and Education on Darst Road in Beavercreek, Ohio.

 

“Your photographs will help Kettering College celebrate its new occupational therapy doctorate program and will help to bring further understanding to this area of study in general,” said Terrance Anderson, OTD,OTR/L, the founding OTD program director.

Each participant in the photo contest may submit up to one photograph in each of the eight areas of occupation: Activities of Daily Living, Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, Rest and Sleep, Education, Work, Play, Leisure, and Social Participation.

The photography contest will be open on May 13 through September 15.

Kettering College will be one of 18 colleges in the United States to offer an entry-level doctoral program for occupational therapy starting in fall of 2015.
