Kettering College Names New Director of Finance and Administration

Nicholas Henson, MBA, has joined the Kettering College executive team as the new Director of Finance and Administration. Henson replaced Danae Still in August. Still has taken on a position at Kettering Health Network as the Finance Manager of the Senior Division.

Henson has spent the last nine years being treasurer, interim treasurer, associate treasurer, and assistant treasurer for the Gulf States Conference of Seventh Day Adventists, in Montgomery, Alabama. Before that he spent a year as at Florida Hospital as a financial analyst.

Henson's background and experience in finance and not-for-profit accounting will enable him to drive constructive change and positive business results through analytics at Kettering College. “Nick combines strong financial and management skills with a passion for service.” President NateBrandstatersaid. “He brings with him a mission-minded commitment to faith-based work that I know will inspire all of us. I am thrilled that he has joined our team at Kettering College.”

Henson received his bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting from Southern Adventist University in 2004 and his Masters of Business Administration from Webster University in 2011.

Henson and his wifeJoia, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and 4-year-old daughter Abigail, are settling into the area.
