Kettering College Kicks Off a Joyful Start to the Academic Year
The 2025–26 academic year is off to a wonderful start at Kettering College! Our faculty and staff came together for the annual Colloquium event, a time to celebrate wins, share challenges, and look ahead with purpose. A special thank you to Dr. Harvey S. Hahn, Dr. Cindy Cassell, Lisa Sikorski, and Elliot Smith for sharing meaningful insights and encouragement. Through strategic planning sessions, we laid the groundwork for a strong year of growth and success. The event wrapped up with a lively day of team-building activities at Scene 75, strengthening the bonds that make our community so special.

The excitement carried into Welcome Week, where faculty, staff, and student leaders united to support new and returning students. From move-in assistance to campus tours, everyone pitched in to make sure students felt right at home. The week wrapped up with a personalized hat decorating station and a joyful lawn barbeque, creating space for fun, laughter, and connection.

We then launched the semester in the best way possible—with our cherished tradition of Convocation. This year’s program featured inspiring student speakers and a heartfelt first address from our new president, Dr. Mitchell. The moment was captured in countless selfies, symbolizing the energy and excitement filling campus. To close the celebration, the community gathered to enjoy a sweet treat of Graeter’s ice cream, a perfect ending to a memorable day.

As we step into this new academic year, we are reminded once again of the unique spirit of Kettering College. Together, we are committed to learning, growth, and sharing the love of God in all we do. Here’s to a year filled with opportunity, joy, and community!
