Eric J. Scott joined the faculty at Kettering College in 2023 and is teaching full-time as a professor in the Humanities and Social Sciences department. Eric is an Ordained Minister and has served as a Seventh-day Adventist Pastor for 20 years. He is a Board-Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. He has served as Director of Chaplains and Medical Ethics at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He has had clinical pastoral and ethical consultation privileges with Sunrise Hospital and Sunrise Children’s Hospital, as well as Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California. Eric formerly served as the Director of Ethics at Community Health Network and brings this pastoral and clinical ethics background and education to Kettering College and the Colombia Union Conference.
