Dr. Tanguay's focus in higher education is for students to gain awareness around their personal and spiritual narratives in such way that it enables them to be ethical practioners in healthcare. Dr. Tanguay previously worked as a clinical ethicist in a hospital system in Columbus, Ohio. As Director of Clinical Ethics at Kettering Health she facilitates educational opportunities for students both at the hospital and the college.
Dr. Tanguay’s area of research includes narrative medicine and ethical dilemmas related to health disparities in the treatment options for intravenous substance users.
