Accessibility Services at Kettering College:
Kettering College is committed to providing equal access to education through reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities and medical conditions. Accessibility Services works with students, faculty, and staff to ensure access and support for academic success.
Who Can Request Accommodations?
Students with a documented disability or medical condition that affects academic access may qualify for accommodations. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Learning disabilities
- ADHD
- Psychological conditions
- Chronic health conditions
- Sensory impairments
- Temporary conditions (e.g., recovery from surgery or injury)

- Extended time for exams
- Reduced-distraction testing environment

Accommodation Intake Form – Google Forms
If you are unable to access the online form, contact Cindyann.jaber@kc.edu or Studentaccess@kc.edu to request a copy in an alternate format.
- Meet with Student Success
Find a time to meet with Cindy Jaber after your accommodation intake form has been reviewed. Her office is in the Student Success Testing Center. Drop by her office or email her at, cindyann.jaber@kc.edu.
These meetings are an interactive discussion where you will collaborate to identify reasonable accommodations.
- Submit Documentation
Documentation may be provided before, during or after your appointment with the Office of Disability Services. You may submit documentation by:

In person: Testing Center 119A
Provide documentation from a certified professional: a medical provider, therapist, or counselor. Documentation must be on letterhead and include the following:

- Medical Diagnosis
- How the medical diagnosis impacts the student’s ability to learn and perform
- Recommended accommodations, such as extended time and a distraction-reduced environment. (This is the only information shared with faculty.)
Documentation of Disability Form
- Review & Approval
Disability Services will review your documentation and request. You will receive an email notifying you of your status and next steps.
