Next Steps for Admitted Students – Fall 2026
Congratulations on your admission! Follow this checklist to complete everything you need before classes begin on August 31st, 2026.
If you have questions at any point, contact us at admissions@kc.edu or call 937-395-8601, and we’ll guide you to the right person to work with on each step.

Enrollment Next Steps for Fall Semester 2026

To Do Within 10 Days of Acceptance
- Set Up Your KC Student Gmail Account: Official college communications will come to your @my.kc.edu email. Click here for instructions on setting up your student Gmail account.
- Set up Student Portal (Jenzabar): Used for deposit, tuition payments, registration, and forms.– Step-by-step setup instructions can be accessed here. Allow 72 hours after admission for activation.- If you run into issues or questions, reach out to us: helpdesk@kc.edu | 937-203-8303
- Pay Your Acceptance Deposit ($100, non-refundable) Here
This reserves your place in the class and confirms your intent to enroll. Pay online through the KC Student Portal.

To Do October 2025 – June 2026
- Start Your Financial Aid Process
- If you plan on using Federal Financial Aid, make sure to fill out your FAFSA (school code: 007035).
- For FAFSA questions, reach out to Melissa Franklin at melissa.franklin@kc.edu.
- If you plan to self-pay or have third-party sponsorship, make arrangements with financialaid@kc.edu.
- Residence Hall Application (if applicable)

- Complete the Resident Life Inquiry found under the Resident Life tab in your student portal if you plan on living on campus to reserve your spot.

To Do March 2026 - May 2026
- Connect with Your Student Success Coach
- Your Student Success Coach will be your go-to person from day one. They will reach out to you directly to get to know you, learn about your goals, and create a plan to help you thrive both inside and outside the classroom. Together, you will set clear goals, talk through challenges, and celebrate wins along the way.
- We encourage you to engage fully with your coach and take advantage of this partnership early. It is one of the best ways to start your Kettering College journey with confidence and support.

- Accessibility and Academic Accommodations
- If you have a disability or medical condition that may impact your learning experience, we are here to help. Our Disability Services team works with students to ensure equal access to all programs, services, and activities at Kettering College.
- You can begin this process by contacting Disability Services at studentaccess@kc.edu or mentioning your needs to your Student Success Coach, who will help guide you through the next steps.
- Complete Clinical Paperwork (if required by your program)
- Includes background check, immunizations, and forms.
- Check with your program or email admissions@kc.edu for instructions if you don’t receive them from your program coordinator.

To Do Summer 2026 (June–August)
- Complete Enrollment Items at NSO or Your Virtual Appointment

- Register for Classes (Registration begins June 1st)
- Take/Submit Student ID Photo (send to IDphoto@kc.edu if not taken in person at New Student Orientation)
- Finalize Financial Clearance (Please review your bill and award letter carefully in the student portal to understand your expected charges and projected aid. Payments may be made at any time during the semester. All tuition and fees must be paid below $100 before you can register for the next term.)
- Buy Books and Class Materials:

- Order through kc.ecampus.com once registered.
- Materials available for purchase starting in June.
- Students receiving federal financial aid (Pell Grant or Direct Loans) and are eligible will receive an email from eCampus at their Kettering College email with a voucher ID in July 2026. You can use this voucher to purchase textbooks on the eCampus website for both required and recommended course materials.
- Meet Your Pre-Program Success Coach (for Pre-Nursing, Pre-Respiratory, Pre-Sonography, Pre-Rad Tech students)

- Complete the intake form and connect with your coach. (All students have a coach)

To Do August 2026
- Attend Residence Hall Move-In (if applicable)
- Wednesday, August 27 | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 a.m.

- Bring essentials (see suggested packing list).
- Attend Fall Welcome Day (Required)
- Friday, August 28th | 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

- Attendance at this event is required for all incoming KC students.
- Kick off your journey at Kettering College with Fall Welcome; connect with new friends, gain the tools for success, and dive into a day full of energy and fun!
- Fall Welcome Agenda will be released June 1st.
- Prepare for Classes

- Log into Canvas (our learning platform). Classes will appear a few days before the semester begins.
