Next Steps for Admitted Students Spring 2026
If you’re wondering what to do after you’ve been admitted until the first day of class on January 12, follow the guide below to stay organized.
- Activate your KC student email and log into the KC student portal.
- As a Kettering College student, official communications will be sent to your my.kc.edu email address. This email address will also be used to sign up for registration and financial aid appointments. It’s important to activate your accounts as delays in the registration process can occur without them.
- Your KC student portal is where you will be able to make payments, register for classes once this opens, and conduct other business needed at KC throughout your time as a student here. CLICK HERE to access the step-by-step guide to help you with this setup process.
- If you have trouble logging in, contact the IT Help Desk at helpdesk@kc.edu or call 937-203-8303.
- It’s important to note that it can take up to 72 hours from college acceptance to have your student portal information activated.
- Sign up for a registration appointment (Spring registration will open November 4)
- New undergraduate students are encouraged to sign up for an online registration appointment to register for classes. Online Appointments: Click HERE to schedule your registration appointment. You will be able to meet with a Kettering College staff member on a video chat to complete the course registration process
- Please be sure to log into the JICS Student Portal and select ‘Registration’ on the home page. Ensure the Spring 2025 term is selected.
- Financial Clearance: After you register for classes, your preliminary Spring 2026 tuition and fee information, along with any anticipated grants or scholarships, will appear in your student portal within 3 business days. Please review your bill carefully to understand your expected charges and projected aid.
If you plan to use federal financial aid, complete your 2025–26 FAFSA as soon as possible and include Kettering College’s school code (007035). Loan funds must be accepted in the financial aid portal before they will appear in your account. Students using third-party tuition assistance or sponsorship should ensure authorization is submitted to Student Accounts. Payments may be made at any time during the semester. All tuition and fees must be paid below $100 before you can register for the next term.
