Fall Convocation to be held on Friday, September 2
Convocations is held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. The entire campus community (students, faculty, staff and administration) meets in the church across the street from the campus for a ceremony that includes academic pageantry. Attendance is required. See you on Friday, September 2, for the first Convocation of the school year!
Please note: Convocation exemptions are automatically granted to students who adhere to any of the following items:
- Do not have any classes before 11:30 a.m. on Fridays
- Have program clinical assignments on Fridays
- Taking less than 10 credits hours for Fall 2016 Semester
- Online student – with no classes on campus
Any additional requests for exemption must be made in writing to the respective program chairs for details. Students must submit their completed request forms for exemptions preferably before, but no later than one week after, a scheduled Assembly or Convocation.
NOTE: There is a $15.00 charge for not attending Convocation and/or Assembly if you are required to attend. If you need to be exempt for special reasons, please see your program chair.
