Kettering College to Host NAD Campus Ministries Convention
Kettering, Ohio (March 24) – Kettering College of Medical Arts will play host to the annual North America Division (NAD) Campus Ministries Convention from Wednesday, March 26, through Sabbath, March 29.
The NAD Campus Ministries Convention is an annual event that brings together students and staff directors of campus ministries programs on all the Seventh-day Adventist university and college campuses in North America. The purpose of the event is to develop leadership abilities and skills for campus ministries and spiritual life officers and personnel in the areas of spiritual leadership, on- and off-campus programming, discipleship ministries, health ministries, and student missions.
Each year, a different college plays host to this event. This year, Kettering College will host this event for the very first time in more than 20 years of meetings. The theme for this year’s convention is “Empowering Student Leaders for Spiritually Diverse Campuses.” Scheduled speakers include Dr Karl Haffner, Dr Raj Attiken, Ron Pickell, Pastor Bob McGhee, Chaplain Timothy Nixon, and Pastor Jose Rojas.
There also will be various breakout session topics which include health ministries, student missions, and campus ministries/spiritual life programming, as well as times built into the schedule for team enrichment and fellowshipping with the other colleges and universities.
