Initiating his teaching journey in 2005 after obtaining a BS in mathematics from Walla Walla University, Dr. Engleman concurrently pursued a master's in mathematics education at Western Michigan University, emphasizing state and national mathematics standards. Immersed in a three-year program on K-12 education assessment, he furthered his studies in mathematics education at the doctoral level. Joining Kettering College in 2011, Dr. Engleman expanded his instructional scope to include physics. In 2012, he commenced his PhD at the University of Cincinnati, concentrating on physics education and mixed methods research.
