Melinda Hopkins has been a nurse since 2009. She graduated from Kettering College with an ASN degree and continued her education at Chamberlain University College of Nursing, earning her BSN, MSN, and DNP degrees. Her nursing background is primarily in Home Health and Case Management, in addition to her experience in Education. Melinda joined Kettering College as faculty in 2014, though it is currently listed as 2016. Before becoming a nurse, she worked for six years at LexisNexis and spent five years as a Phlebotomist at Good Samaritan Hospital. She currently teaches Med Surg 2, Leadership, Wellness, and the Nurse Externship courses. Melinda truly loves watching her students grow in their knowledge and critical thinking skills, finding it incredibly rewarding to be a part of their nursing journey
