Nursing Department Pinning and Commencement

Kettering College is pleased to announce the Winter 2021 Nursing Pinning and Commencement Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2021. For the safety of our graduates, families, faculty, and staff, the seats are limited, and the in-person event is invite-only by a nursing graduate. In lieu of capacity, there will be a livestream of the ceremony.

A pinning ceremony is a unique and special ceremony for the nurses. It is because the pinning ceremony isn’t just a nursing tradition, it is a symbol of the nursing students’ hard work and dedication towards their coursework and clinicals. The pinning ceremony is offered to nursing students who have completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to become a registered nurse (RN).
